CdeC45: Digital Maps and Real Cities. The door between two dimensions

During these 7 sessions, I would like students to receive a broad view on everything that is related to the aspect of city planning and map creation.
As the theoretical background I would like to have sessions with the following topics:
1. How the cities are shaped, the main elements of infrastructure;
2. City planning maps and analysis;
3. Geographic Information System and digital mapping;
4. ArcGis introduction;
5. Dimensions of digital maps and their usage;
6. ArcGIS tutorial;
7. Industry experience – how it all works in real projects.

I would like to perform a tutorial of ArcGIS software. Introduce the basics of spatial data analysis and show examples of how such analysis could be used for city planning.
